have so many questions for you! You have inspired me to think... And
boy that doesn't mean its a good thing... For your sake anyway! Ok, for
the exercise in which I meditated with my crystal, you said it had
three faces. Of which I saw with the Cat and the Yellow, correct? Now
if I did a ceremony asking for this item to be represent my Bobcat
(totem) does it carry the energy of Bobcat? Or is it simply the energy
of the crystal. And if it is simply the energy of the crystal, why
would you do a ceremony asking that it represent your totem animal? I
understand that each crystal, rock, stone, carries its own energy. I
have also learned that you begin a relationship with these energies.
Creating the guidelines of what the relationship will be, ie
programming for protection. Does a crystal have its own self outside of
the spiritual connection you ask for? Shaman Teacher Maggie: Unknown to many, a crystal has its own self, its own energy, its own vibration, outside of the spiritual connection you ask for. Yes. A crystal has its own unique vibration. Even the vibration of a ruby is different from a piece of quartz. Yes, a crystal is a manifested bit of Spirit. When you looked for the 3 faces of your crystal was it you calling it Cat and Yellow or did it show you cat and Yellow. That would tell you who is in charge here. My
Shamanic training says that if bobcat wants you to have a stone to
represent him, he will present you with that stone. You may find it on
a walk or in a store but it will call out to you with the spirit of the
bobcat. Do
I think that you can ask or make bobcat put his energy into your stone
for you? No. this would be a useless thing to do. It is up to bobcat to
give you this gift. Not up to you to do some ceremony to make it happen. Shamans work within the Universal Laws of Nature. Actually a stone will come to you for many reasons. To show you something you have overcome, a lesson successfully learned and you are given a stone to remind you of that success. It gives its energy for this purpose. Or a stone to help you overcome some difficulty you are now facing, to give you strength, to give its energy for this purpose, or a stone to bring healing to you or someone else. It gives it energy for this purpose. And these stones come to us; we do not create them. I know this seems to go against what many crystal healers teach but actually it doesn't go against, but instead it respects the inherent energy of each stone. And by respecting the energy of the stone and working with it instead of trying to make it work with you, you get much farther ahead. Make sense? Student: Or is it simply the vibration of the Earth? And what do you mean that you can manifest this energy? If you can slow down an energy to show itself, does this mean that you can feel an energy and then call it forward. Or does this mean you can call the energy into existence in the physical form? Shaman Teacher Maggie: The first thing that you must do to call an energy into manifestation is to be able to recognize the energy signatures of things around you. Take the time to recognize the energy of a quartz crystal. Get good enough at it that if someone had their hands behind their back and were holding a quartz crystal in one hand and a banana in the other, you would pick the hand with the quartz crystal. Go even farther so that you know the energy signature of a banana and then you can tell the person, "you have a quartz crystal in your right hand and a banana in your left hand." How do you do this? By taking the time and doing the work to study energy signatures. Just like learning to read books. By repeated exposure to the word "run", you learned to recognize it! Same thing! How can anyone expect to recognize the energy around them when they do not learn first how to read. That's like holding up the word "run" in front of the three year old and asking him what it is. He may say its a word but he would not know what word. You can sense energy, but not what kind of energy. Start with things you know well, easy words like banana and car and cat. Learn their energy signatures. Later you can learn to differentiate between a Lexus and a Dodge, between a Cheshire and a Lynx. Everything has an energy signature. Student:
For example, which is why I am thinking this, this morning. I woke up
early this morning, too early! Feeling the shakes and needing to just
get going. I go to the kitchen and look out the window at the moon.
Just enjoying the night sky, I am joined by my kitty. We watch the
night sky and enjoy each others company and I feel compelled to ask the
Moon to show herself to me. I have been trying to connect more deeply
with her this cycle. The kitty stops dead in his tracks and begins to watch something in the living room. I feel grounded and ask for a circle of light around me. I watch as he is watching this invisible force in the living room. I am so intested in what he sees, I turn on the light and sit on the floor beside him. Watching this... I don't know what, I start thinking about what you said. If you slow the energy down enough, you can manifest its existence (if I got this right!). So I begin to think, obviously there is something here that I cannot see, what if I imagine the energy slowing down. Which brings a whole slew of questions. Can you slow down the energy of something that is of its own free will? i.e. a traveler in the night. Shaman Teacher Maggie:
Now as to manifesting energy physically by slowing down its frequency.
First you would have to be really good at recognizing energy
signatures. Then you have to learn how, when in the causal state, to
allow an energy to slow down into a low level frequency so that it
would appear as something physical. So this goes beyond just
recognizing energy signatures, to working within energy. And I will
tell you now that if you don't have control over your own energy, over
your lower bodies of mental, physical, emotional and astral energy, you
won't be able to work with other beings' energy. And that is why you
are taking this course, to recognize your power and learn to use
it. Now an example. Perhaps you have heard of Padre Pio. He was a priest in the Catholic church, very holy saint,who could be in two or more places at once, physically. Some people would see him in the church hearing confessions between 7 and 9 pm on Tuesday. And on Sunday a parishioner would come to church and tell how Padre Pio visited him at his sick bed on Tuesday at 8PM and sat and talked with him and his family and heard his confession in his home. How did he do this? First of all he was impeccable with himself. Second he could tune into the energy of the sick man as well as tune into the confessional and the people there. He then discovered that he could send his own energy to the sick man by sending a part of himself in a slowed down frequency and he would be seen. You can do this too. WE all can. But we have to be impeccable with ourselves and reach that place where we can desire to manifest in multiple places, understand the workings of energy under the Universal Laws well enough to do the work and most of all, believe that we can do this. Not something that happens overnight. But something to work toward. Student: More times than not, I can feel the presence of something, rather than seeing it. My skin crawls, I get butterflies, whatever, but have no knowledge of what is around me. And if you can feel the energy and not know what it is, how can you determine what it is that you should follow? Teacher Shaman Maggie:
Again as I said before that by studying energy signatures as if you
were studying archeology at an ancient ruins, taking your time and
being precise and patient,you can eventually recognize what is visiting
you. One of the first things we begin to recognize about energy
signatures is the basic good feeling or bad feeling we get from that
signature. Just as you have demonstrated here. You did not completely
recognize the energy signature but you knew it was not harmful. So using your emotions to help recognize energy signatures certainly is part of that way we do this. We use our emotional feelings, our mental acuity, our physical reactions like shaking or coldness, and also our astral selves to look at this energy from the astral place and also our causal selves (when you have developed a working understanding of your causal self) to recognize these energies. OK, so you use all your bodies when learning to recognize energy signatures. When you get them all well developed and operating optimally for you, you will be able to recognize more and more "words", energy signatures. Everybody wants to jump right to the end of the book. We walk a path. Enjoy the path of learning this skill. It really is fascinating and a great walk to take! Student: I sat on the floor in the bathroom for a minute to give myself Reiki. Like I said, I had the shakes and thought maybe it would help. As I sat there with my eyes closed, I could see the eyes of one looking at me. Passing through animal to human eyes. I asked who this was but heard nothing. I grounded and sheilded and felt safe. It felt comfortable. I asked for my Spirit Guides to come forward and then saw him turn his back to walk away. I said don't leave, just tell me why you are here with me. But heard nothing. This was just before the cat thing. Now in this instance the energy is there. I can see it before me in my minds eye. I don't know if it was my Guide or something else. I did not hear the answer or see the message change to indicate why it was there. I remembered you saying everything has at least three faces and I asked to see its true face. But only saw eyes. Why is this? Is this because there are just beings all around us? Or do they search us out individually? Should I be concerned? I felt safe. Teacher Shaman Maggie: There is energy all around us all the time. It is just energy. Just like there is air around us all the time and we are glad for that aren't we! It is good that you recognized the energy. I think the reason you didn't see anything but eyes is this.If you wanted to see this being (and I think it is great that you recognize it was benevolent) then you should form the INTENTION. I intend to see this being if it is willing to show itself to me. Intention is the willful choice you make. It is more than a guess. It is a deliberate thought form. And we should all try to think more deliberately. It is part of being impeccable. Let me give you an example. I have a student who had a dream and in this dream she was attacked by bees and she woke up trying to fight them off as they were stinging her by the hundreds Yuk! And I have another student who dreamt he was being choked, pinned up against a wall by some thug and he allowed himself to turn into water and just poured through the bad guys hands unharmed. When he awoke he thought about how clever he was to turn into water. It was his intention to become water. He could have just stayed pinned up against the wall. It was a deliberate thought of his that led to the action. Intention. The girl with the bees could have become a bee hive and the bees would have been very happy and so would she as the home for the bees but she did not come up with any intention. Later when I wrote her about this she thought about it and realized how there never needs to be a bad dream again once you start forming intentions, deliberate thoughts for protection and goodness and healing. Every thought you have should be deliberate and should be regarding love. Something to work on for all of us. She never needs to have another bad dream or even a bad or helpless or victimizing experience in her daily life either if she works to create deliberate thoughts in her daily life, an intentional way of living. Student: So I trusted that, but couldn't help wonder the whys? And in this instance again, can you slow it down to see its form before you? Teacher Shaman Maggie: A very advanced Shaman can slow energy down and make it become physical even if only for a few minutes. I find it takes a lot of energy. It takes less energy to manifest myself in two places at once than it does to slow the energy of something outside of myself. Can I do it without permission? I do not, but other Shamans do trap the being and force it to manifest physically. I feel this creates bad karma; puts karma on them every time they do this, and also breaks the cardinal rule given to us of free will choice. Every time we take away free will choice from any being, whether it is stone or plant or animal or human or astral or etheric or atmic or buddhic we are bringing karma or onus or debt upon ourselves. I don't want any of that. No thanks! Say there is a
spirit in the forest and it wants to show itself to me. Do I need to
see it physically? No. I can sense it very well and don't need to use
my physical eyes to see it. What if it choose to appear physically? Can
I help it? Yes. If I know how to do it. And I learned how to do it by
learning how to do it myself. Can I be physically in two places at the
same time? Yes. Now lets take Moses. He led his people with a staff.
And when Pharaoh would not let them be free, Moses turned his staff
into a snake to demonstrate the power of God for the bad ruler. Did he
ask the staff to become a snake? Through God, I am sure he did. Did the
staff have the energy of a staff or of a snake? I don't know. I would
guess snake because the energy of a snake is higher than that of a
staff. And was Moses impeccable enough to understand the workings of
energy? Through the knowledge imparted to him through spiritual means
and messages, yes. Can I turn a staff into a snake? I don't want to as I do not need to impress a pharaoh or anyone else for that matter. Have I seen Shamans do this? Yes. Particularly the indians I studied with. Is it a good thing to do? Again I think you are messing with free will here. Can a snake turn itself into a staff? Everything has three or more faces. Student: I am more prone to feel first. So how do I get this information on a basis that I can question it? Hone in on it and understand what the heck it is? What about the energy in the rock? Can you bring it foward to veiw it other than in the minds eye? Teacher Shaman Maggie: I have answered this one above by saying that you use many senses when recognizing energy. You can view it with your causal body if you like. or with your astral body if you like. And the best way to view it is using all your spiritual bodies just as you use your eyes, ears, nose and skin to recognize an apple. Student: Or the energy in a tree. I kept seeing the base of a tree this morning also. I am very fond of trees! Feel very connected to them. Love to touch and feel the energy of trees. I asked a great old tree once to come and visit me and he did for several nights. But that is in my minds eye, is there a way to sit with the spirit of a tree? Does it come over the years? Teacher Shaman Maggie: The best way to sit with the energy of a tree is with your physical body present with the tree. Camp overnight beside an old tree with deep roots and just be with the tree. Great experience! Then go home and sit on the floor and remember the energy signature of that tree and ask it to be present with you in your living room. It will. and you can again sit with it just as you did in the forest. You will feel the energy just as strong. Try it! Student: I read books or see movies and all the glamor of woo-woo and this causes me to think that maybe I am not what I am. Like I said, without a teacher, and really no one to understand these crazy thoughts I have, I wonder if I am sane! Ok, so I have another question, since I started this journey I have felt this jumpy energy within me. Like I said, I will wake up with what is like the shakes, but not externally. Like it is within me. Have you ever heard of anything like this? Shaman Teacher Maggie: You are becoming more aware of the energies around you. You are letting the Novocain wear off after the dentist visit. This is a great question and one that I wish people asked more often. You have chosen to allow yourself to feel the energies of more things. Many more things. How can you learn energy signatures if you are not open to sensing them? And as you open up to sensing them, you are sensing them. And you sense them as I said above with all your bodies both physical and spiritual. Some psychics only use physical sensations to determine the identity of an energy. Well that is a handicap! So now I only can tell the energy that makes me shiver when it is around and the energy that gives me Goosebumps and the energy that makes my heart leap. Wow! I can now tell 3 energies. Boy am I psychic! Let me do your reading based on these 3 physical sensations! I think no! Use all your senses. They tell you things. There is nothing scary about Goosebumps or heart leaps. They are sensors! We are sensory beings! Yay! Learn about your sensors and learn how to pay attention to them, what they mean and how to use them. Don't give me a Geiger counter with no directions in a padded cell! Lets take this great machine outside, figure out how it works and go find things that make it go beep, beep, beep!
